No "use typeshade" program on this site raises this code, so the page has no example. The fn() builder builds the IR directly and reaches the check at the lines under Source.
The registry text and every compiler message on these pages are the compiler's own English.
When it fires
The two silent-acceptance diagnostics of B4.
Both name a module that assembles, validates and emits today, and fails at the driver or computes the wrong thing. Neither moves an emitted byte: they report what is already there.
How to fix it
The registry's hint: add the handle that owns it to module({ uses: [...] }) — a uniformStruct or storageBuffer left out of uses emits no var declaration, and the module is rejected at pipeline creation
