Type
A reference parameter, p: Ref<f32>: the parameter names the caller's place instead of holding a copy of its value, so reading p reads that place and assigning to p, or to a field, component or element of it, writes it.

Description
The caller passes the place with ref(x). Written only on a parameter of a function declared at the top of the file or of a namespace. WGSL ptr<function, T> (or the place's own address space), GLSL ES 3.00 inout T.
