Core code

a one-argument .at(i) on a node that is not an array

No "use typeshade" program on this site raises this code, so the page has no example. The fn() builder builds the IR directly and reaches the check at the lines under Source.

The registry text and every compiler message on these pages are the compiler's own English.

When it fires

.at(i) reads its element type from an array node's own ShaderType. A node of any other type has no element to read, and the one-argument call has nothing to build.

How to fix it

The registry's hint: only an array node carries its element type — pass the element explicitly as .at(i, elemType)
